“Transform AI content into human-like and undetectable text.” That’s a big promise from Tenorshare AI humanizer.

But does it really pull that off, or is it just another fancy slogan?

We rolled up our sleeves, ran some tests, and found out if it truly hides AI writing—or just gives it a new haircut.

What Is Tenorshare AI

Tenorshare AI is a platform that provides several AI-driven writing tools aimed at simplifying academic and professional tasks. Among its tools are a PDF summarizer, document shortener, and an AI humanizer that modifies machine-generated text to make it read more naturally.

What Is Tenorshare AI Humanizer

Tenorshare AI Humanizer is an online rewriting tool that reformats AI-generated content to resemble human writing patterns.

The tool includes three rewriting modes—Fast, Balanced, and Enchanted—that vary in how deeply the text is reworked.

Why Do We Do This Test

Tenorshare claims its AI Humanizer can turn AI-generated text into writing that sounds natural and stays under the radar of detectors like GPTZero, ZeroGPT, and Copyleaks.

So, we wanted to see if that really checks out.

Can it actually make AI-written content sound human enough to pass those detection tools? And just as important, does the rewritten text still read naturally, or does it just jumble the words?

Let’s find out.

Testing Tenorshare AI Humanizer

Methodology

Here’s how we tested Tenorshare AI Humanizer step by step:

  1. Generate AI text: We created a short, 100% AI-written paragraph using ChatGPT.

  2. Humanize the text: The same text was processed through Tenorshare AI Humanizer to see how much it could adjust tone and style.

  3. Check AI detection: We ran the humanized text through five major AI detectors to record its AI score.

  4. Review and correct: The rewritten text was checked with Grammarly for grammar and readability issues.

  5. Retest AI detection: After making corrections, we ran the text through the same detectors again. This step helps identify whether Tenorshare introduces subtle grammar changes to reduce AI detection—something some humanizers do intentionally.

Testing Text

Topic: The Rise of Minimalist Living

Word Count: 114 words

Since Tenorshare only allows about 125 words per submission, we kept the text concise.

During the free trial, there’s no option to adjust tone or select rewriting modes, so the test was done using the default settings.

Test Results: How Well Did Tenorshare AI Humanizer Perform

After running the text through Tenorshare AI Humanizer, we tested it across five major AI detectors to see how effectively it could alter AI-generated patterns.

Here’s a summary of the scores we recorded:

AI Detector

AI Score After Humanizing

Quillbot

0% AI

ZeroGPT

GPTZero

What Do the Results Say

Looking at the table, the results are a bit of a mixed bag. Some detectors, like Quillbot and Writer, basically gave the text a thumbs-up and said, “Yep, totally human” (0% AI). Others, like Originality.ai and GPTZero, weren’t fooled at all and still pegged it as 100% AI. ZeroGPT was somewhere in the middle, at 12% AI.

What this tells us is that Tenorshare can tweak the surface enough to fool some detectors, but it’s not exactly a magic wand. Sentence structure and word choices still give away the AI roots in some cases.

Next up, we looked at how the text actually reads. Dropping an AI score is one thing, but if the rewrite sounds awkward or clunky, it’s not much use to anyone.

How Good is the Quality of Tenorshare’s Humanized Text

In the previous sections, we focused on AI scores. But writing quality matters just as much.

So we ran the humanized text through Grammarly to check grammar, readability, and overall clarity.

1. Overall Score, Grammar & Quality

Grammarly gave the original humanized version a score of 79/100. Not terrible, but there were some minor grammar and punctuation issues. Most of the problems were small: slightly awkward sentences, a few missing commas, and phrases that could be clearer. These are the kinds of mistakes a human might actually make.

2. Accept Grammarly’s Suggestions

Next, we applied all of Grammarly’s suggested corrections. The score jumped to 98/100, which is significantly cleaner and more readable.

3. AI Detection Scores After Grammarly Improvements

After improving the text with Grammarly, we ran it through the same five AI detectors to see how the scores changed:

GPTzero

GPTzero scores grammatically-optimized Tenorshare AI humanized text 100% AI

Writer

Writer scores grammatically-optimized Tenorshare AI humanized text 0% AI

As the table shows, most detectors became more confident that the text was AI-generated after grammar corrections. Quillbot and ZeroGPT, in particular, jumped significantly, while Writer remained at 0% AI.

The takeaway? Tenorshare seems to “bypass” some detectors by leaving in minor, human-like errors. Once those errors are corrected, AI detectors catch on.

In other words, the free version mainly tricks detectors by mimicking subtle human mistakes, not by deeply reworking the text.

Summary

So, that’s our take on Tenorshare AI humanizer.

It can change the tone a bit and fool some detectors, but it’s far from consistent.

The short word limit also makes it tough to test on real essays.

If you’re just curious, it’s fine for a quick trial. But if you’re actually trying to make longer AI-written pieces sound human, you might want to look for something that gives you more space to work with.
