For this test, we used the GPTZero Optimized mode — the one Grubby AI claims can specifically bypass GPTZero’s AI detection system with high accuracy. 

Test Results: How Well Did Grubby AI Perform?

After running our test text through Grubby AI’s GPTZero Optimized mode, we checked the results across five major AI detectors. Here’s how the humanized version scored:

At first glance, Grubby AI did a decent job. QuillBot, Originality.ai, and Writer all gave the text a clean pass — 0% AI. Even ZeroGPT looked a little unsure, marking it only 19% AI. Not bad for something that started as fully machine-written.

But then came GPTZero — and yeah, that one didn’t buy it for a second. Even though we used the mode supposedly built to fool GPTZero, it still slammed the text with a full 100% AI label. So much for “optimized,” right?

Grammarly gave Grubby AI’s humanized text a 73 out of 100, which isn’t terrible — but definitely not what you’d expect from something claiming to make writing “sound fully human”. 

The text wasn’t exactly polished. Grammarly spotted six critical mistakes—mostly grammar and punctuation—along with a few clarity issues, long or awkward sentences, weak transitions, uneven tone, and some overly complex phrasing.
